Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who We Are
This website and detailing service are operated by Keegan Smith Enterprises LLC, doing business as Morningside Auto Detailing ("Morningside," "we," "us," or "our").
- Email: keegan@morningsideautodetailing.com
- Phone: (508) 258-9769
- Service Area: Central Massachusetts
By booking an appointment, purchasing a membership, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Booking, Pricing, & Size Classifications
- Estimates & Confirmation: Online bookings are service requests until confirmed by email or text. Prices displayed during booking are initial estimates derived from the vehicle size class, package options, and travel distance provided.
- Vehicle Size & Condition Adjustments: Pricing relies on accurate vehicle size classification (Sedan / Coupe, Small SUV / Crossover, Truck / Larger SUV, or Minivan). If a vehicle is misclassified, or if it presents excessive soiling, severe pet hair, mold, or biohazards not disclosed during booking, Morningside reserves the right to adjust the final price on-site (with client approval prior to work starting) or cancel the service.
- Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to decline, pause, or reschedule any booking due to unsafe working conditions, severe vehicle contamination, weather, or location constraints.
3. Location, Workspace, & Utility Requirements
To perform mobile service, the client must provide a suitable work environment:
- Safe Workspace: Service must be performed in a safe, off-street workspace (such as a private driveway or private parking lot). We cannot perform service on public roadways or street parking.
- Utility Access: Services that include exterior work: We need access to water and a standard household outlet. Our hoses and cords are long; they just need to be accessible. Interior-only services: We need access to a standard household outlet. No water required.
- Vehicle Access & Keys: Clients do not need to be physically present for the duration of the service provided key pick-up and drop-off arrangements are made prior to arrival.
4. Personal Belongings & Child Safety Seats
- Personal Items: Clients are required to remove all personal belongings, trash, and valuables from the vehicle prior to our arrival. Morningside is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal property left inside the vehicle.
- Child Safety Seats: Technicians can clean around or beneath child safety seats only if they have been uninstalled by the client prior to service. For safety and liability reasons, Morningside technicians will never uninstall, move, or reinstall child safety seats under any circumstances. Reinstallation is strictly the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
5. Weather & Environmental Conditions
Mobile detailing is subject to New England weather conditions. Either party may postpone and reschedule an appointment due to rain, snow, high winds, or extreme temperatures. Weather-related reschedules supersede the usual 24-hour notice requirement. Clients will never be penalized or charged a fee for weather-related postponements, and appointments will be moved to the next available open slot. If you have a garage, interior work can often still proceed.
6. Vehicle Condition, Photo Documentation, & Liability
- Pre-Existing Conditions: We exercise extreme care with every vehicle. However, Morningside is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or manufacturing defects, including but not limited to failing clear coat, chipped paint, loose interior trim, torn upholstery, failing headliners, or compromised aftermarket accessories.
- Before & After Photos: Technicians take comprehensive before and after photos of every vehicle for quality assurance and verification. These timestamped photos serve as the definitive record of pre-existing vehicle conditions and completed work.
- 24-Hour Inspection Window: Clients must inspect their vehicle upon service completion. Any quality concerns or alleged property damage must be reported to Morningside in writing within 24 hours of service completion. Reports made after 24 hours will not be eligible for review or remedy.
7. Payment & Invoicing
- Payment Due: Payment is due in full upon service completion unless the shop requires a deposit for the visit, an invoice link is sent, or a prior arrangement has been authorized. When a deposit is collected, it is a hold (or charge) against the visit total; the remainder is due on completion.
- Payment Methods: Card payments are securely processed via Stripe. Cash, Venmo, or card-on-file payments are also accepted where applicable.
- Car Care Club: Recurring memberships are governed by our Car Care Club Terms.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
All appointment modifications, cancellations, and refund requests are strictly governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Website & Portal Usage
You agree not to misuse or abuse this website, its booking system, or API routes, including automated data scraping, submitting spam, or attempting unauthorized access to client accounts.
10. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our website or services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
